SharePoint Designer
One layer deeper, SharePoint Designer is also available to business users, to create low to medium complexity sequential workflows for lists and libraries. These 'quick and easy' workflows help promote business process without the need for lengthy development. Update list items, send emails or manage Helpdesk requests.

Visual Studio
Not enough? Workflows that support more complex processes can be developed to your specification and applied throughout the site.

SharePoint for web combines the flexibility of a user-friendly content management system with built-in approval workflow, the integration of line of business data if desired, and highly flexible page templates to cater for any look and feel - such as this site.
